Each member of our staff is highly trained, with an extensive background in dental, a friendly Bellevue Redmond family dentist. In fact, several of our staff members have been with the practice for over 20 years! Darlene - Office Manager
Darlene has been with Dr. Bell since 1987. She knows the office inside and out, having served in nearly every capacity, including receptionist and dental assistant. Her attention to detail and caring disposition has made her a favorite with our patients. She married a "Kiwi" in 1992 and has two very active sons. Much of her time is spent taking her sons to their sports practices and events and volunteering at their school. When she finds time for herself she enjoys exercising, watching sports, cooking, and traveling.
Fiona - Dental Assistant
Fiona is the most recent addition to our dental team, joining Dr. Bell in 2005. Fiona's kind and gentle manner, developed from over 16 years dental assisting experience, is a tremendous comfort to our patients. She was born in Ireland, but grew up on the eastside, graduating from Newport High School as well as Kirkland Beauty School. She enjoys target shooting, fishing (she can catch 'em, but can't kill 'em), has a yellow belt in Tae Kwan Do, is a beginning golfer and considers herself an 'amateur' rollerblader. Fiona has two rescued kitties, Pandora and Ozzy. On any given weekend you may find Fiona handing out food and clothing to the homeless community in Seattle.
Lori - Dental Hygienist
Lori graduated from Fort Steilacoom Community College in 1981 with an Associates Arts and Sciences Degree in Dental Hygiene. She joined Dr. Bell's staff in 1986, having had three years experience in a periodontal office. Lori is extremely conscientious about her work and the care her patients receive. She is an active member of the American Dental Hygienists Association. When not at work, Lori is busy with her husband and two boys. Volunteering at the boys' school is one of her favorite activities.
Janie - Dental Hygienist
Janie graduated from Shoreline Community College in 1979 with an Associates Arts and Sciences Degree in Dental Hygiene. She has worked in the office since 1980, and is committed to providing superior care and service to her patients. She met Dr. Bell while in dental hygiene school and married in 1981. They have two children, a daughter who is a sophomore at Fairfield University in Connecticut and a son who is a junior at Redmond High School. Janie served 6 years on the board of Northwest Children's Fund, a fund raising organization for children's social services and 6 years on the Redmond West Little League Board. In her spare time she enjoys exercise at the gym, bike riding, reading, fishing and golf.
Debbie - Dental Hygienist
Debbie attended Yakima Valley Community College and graduated in 1981 with an Associates Arts and Sciences Degree in Dental Hygiene. Debbie has worked in Dr. Bell's office since 1989. She enjoys gardening, cooking, reading, working out and spending time relaxing at her families South Sound cabin. She has been involved in her community in various ways, most recently at the Church of Mary Madeleine.
