New Patient Exam
Every new patient who visits our office receives a thorough exam from Dr. Bell prior to treatment. Your initial exam will consist of a comprehensive evaluation of the existing conditions of your mouth, including periodontal charting, occlusal charting, oral cancer screening, TMJ preliminary evaluation, impressions for diagnostic models, and any necessary radiographs and intra-oral photos. Following your exam, Dr. Bell will recommend a course of treatment based on your esthetic or restorative needs.

Sealants are a clear or shaded plastic material that is applied to the biting or chewing surfaces of the back teeth (molars and bicuspids), where decay occurs most often. The sealant acts as a barrier, protecting the decay prone areas of the back teeth from plaque and acid. Sealants can help patients avoid the type of damage that necessitates fillings or dental crowns, and the material can last for many years if properly maintained.
